Every purchase you make, every item you donate, every time you walk through our doors — you're directly funding programs that serve widows, foster families, orphans, and neighbors walking through some of life's hardest seasons.

Our purpose is to support the mission of The ROSE TLC through generating a revenue stream for the programs and services offered through the arms of the ministry. Whether you are making a donation or coming in to browse or make a purchase, we thank you for supporting The ROSE Thrift and MORE!.

We welcome you to visit our 11,000 square feet Thrift Store located at 108 South Center Street in beautiful, downtown Hickory, NC 28602. We are a whole "NEW" way to thrift; with Vintage, Retro, 70's and brands like YSL & GUCCI to North Face & Anthropologie we offer the best picks for clothing around! Home-goods, antiques and furniture are for sale to make your home and your gift giving unique & special.

We have an amazing team of employees and volunteers who strive to make your shopping experience top drawer. Greeters will welcome you into the shop, making you aware of our daily sales and promotions. Our fun, upbeat music will have you dancing in the aisles. And you will feel confident shopping where your purchases have a purpose - supporting the needs of foster families, orphans, widows and others in need.

Your gently loved items fund the mission.

We gladly accept clothing, shoes, books, artwork, household goods, antiques, and small appliances in good condition. Drop off Tuesday through Saturday, 10am – 4:30pm.

DONATION GUIDELINES / HOURS

Donation Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00am - 4:30pm

Donations of sellable items are always needed and received with thanks; including gently used clothing, shoes and accessories, books, artwork, children’s toys, household items in good condition, antiques, and smaller working appliances and smaller electronics with all parts included.

We do not accept stained or torn clothing.

Because of our limited personnel and spacial resources, we do not accept nor are we able to pick up furniture and large household items. Exceptions might be made by e-mailing photographs of furniture along with information to John Featherstone at [email protected] .

We do not accept mattresses and box springs, or large appliances, stereos, computers and printers, console televisions, paint or other chemicals.

Donations are accepted at our warehouse, located in the front, right of the Thrift Store building.

Please do not leave donations at the door after hours - for the safety and well-being of our staff and volunteers, ALL donations left outside the back door will be discarded in the dumpster.
